Suzy Reiser is the Accompanist and Children’s Choir Director for FUMC. A native of Southern Ohio, she moved to Vero Beach in 1982 and became the Accompanist at FUMC in 1985.

Suzy attained her Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degrees from Ohio University and her Orff Certification from Samford University. She has furthered her educational studies at St. Johns University, Florida State University, Rio Grande College and the International University of Paris.

Suzy has served as a Music Teacher for 26 years and has been nominated for the Disney Teacher Award, is a National Teacher’s Certification Candidate and the recipient of the Sword of Hone from Sigma Alpha Iota (National Fraternity of Musicians).

Suzy has a broad ray of extracurricular interests including reading, traveling, performing, attending plays, playing the piano, learning about music and walking.

Suzy says that she loves sharing in the ministry of FUMC because it is like a family. She enjoys getting to see the children of the church getting involved through the music ministry of the church and experiencing and sharing God’s love through it.
