Children’s Church is available each Sunday during the 8:30 AM and 11:00 AM Services of Worship. The children meet the Children’s Church Coordinator in the Chapel immediately following the Children’s Moments during the service. The children may be picked up from Children’s Church in CLC Room 104 when the service is over.
Each summer the children’s division blocks out spaces for our children to attend the Children’s Camp at the United Methodist Youth Camp in Leesburg. This exciting week includes recreation, crafts, devotionals, worship and other activities. Our church provides transportation so they can go together and one of our staff usually stays the week so our children who are first-timers don’t get homesick.
Club 45 is a program for kindergartners through third graders which meets once a week throughout the year. During the school year, and during the summer, it meets only in the afternoon and includes both an educational and music component. During the summer it is an all day program so that parents can drop their children off before work and pick them up after work. The summer program may involve field trips in addition to various crafts and recreational activities. Registration is required in the Fall, the Winter and the Summer.
Kidz Connection is a program for children of Kindergarten through third grade levels. It meets once a week throughout the year. Summer Music Camp is an action packed week of recreation, music and worship just for children going into Kindergarten through fifth grade. The program runs from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM each day and includes lunch. The children spend the week creating costumes and sets, in addition to learning music, for a special musical they will put on during the service of worship on Sunday. Music Camp does have a limited enrollment so please get your reservations in early.
Vacation Bible School is an fun-filled packed week of recreation, crafts, education, music and worship just for children. The program runs from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM each day and includes lunch. The program is for children who are of kindergarten age through fifth grade. It does have a limited enrollment so please get your reservations in early.
